Welcome to Promising Generation Secondary School. I am Mrs. Titilayo Olajumoke Amosu (The School Manager). Here at Promising Generation Secondary School, we stand on God’s promises to raise the next global reformers. We have qualified and competent teachers that are God fearing and devoted to work. The co-curricular activities and other school programme are well structured to provide and equip the students with all they need to become a better person in the future.

DEPARTMENTS

v Science Department

Our science department provides professional teachers, knowledge, skills and ideas in all the science subjects. Our students are exposed to series of well articulated practical classes that gives them a solid foundation to choose careers like Medicine/Surgery, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Agricultural related courses, Engineering courses etc. The department comprises of the following subjects:

2. Further Mathematics

3. Agricultural science

4. Biology

5. Chemistry

6. Physics

7. Trade (Data Processing)

8. Civic Education

 

v Business Department

The department is made up of experienced teachers whose areas of specialization in educational training are in:

1. Accounting

2. Business studies

3. Commerce

4. Economics

5. Trade (Marketing)

The department raises future business leaders by discovering, nurturing, actualizing skills and economic potentials of students.

 

v Humanities Department

The Humanities department fosters political consciousness and a good understanding of Nigeria’s political system. We develop spiritual, moral, religious, ability to relate well and enjoy peaceful co-existence with one another. Awareness of  their fundamental human rights, exposure to other people’s culture and ability to maximize the resources within the environment are developed in the students.

The department offers the following subjects:

1. Christian Religious studies

2. Civic Education

3. Government

4. Literature-in-English

5. Yoruba

6. Trade (Marketing)
